Salati is an Android prayer companion by Plugarti. It brings prayer times and calculation settings, local reminders, a native Qibla compass and prayer history into one app. Its purpose is straightforward: make useful prayer information easier to find during an ordinary day.
The app is Coming soon on Google Play. Its listing is not live yet, and we have no public release date to share. This introduction describes the product documented on the Salati website; it is not a release announcement.
A companion for daily practice
A prayer companion needs to make its basic information understandable. Salati's documented Android features include prayer times for a saved location, calculation settings and prayer reminders. Together, those features let someone consult a schedule and configure the app around their location and preferences.
Calculation settings deserve attention. A timetable is the result of inputs and conventions, rather than a single universal set of clock times. Location, timezone and the chosen calculation method can all matter. Salati's product information describes configurable prayer settings; it does not promise that every displayed time will match every local timetable.
The Android app also includes a native Qibla compass. This is a mobile-app feature. The website does not currently provide a live compass, and reading about the app here does not activate one in your browser.
Prayer history, kept on your device
Salati includes a simple prayer history stored locally in the Android app, without requiring an account. This gives the feature a clear scope: it is local app storage, rather than a website profile or an online prayer-history dashboard.
That statement is specific to prayer records. It should not be read as a claim that the entire app has no diagnostics or third-party providers. The Android privacy policy explains the app's processing and provider details. Website processing is described separately in the website privacy notice.
Keeping those explanations distinct helps readers find the information that applies to what they are actually using. Visiting this page and using a native Android feature are different activities, with different technical contexts.
The website and the Android app
The Salati website currently provides product information, support and legal pages. Free website tools are in preparation: Prayer Times, a Hijri Calendar and a Ramadan Hub. They are planned companions to the informational website, and they are not available calculators today.
Those plans should not be confused with the existing documented Android features. A description of the upcoming website Prayer Times tool does not establish that the web calculator has launched. Likewise, a mention of the Android Qibla compass is not a promise of a browser compass.
For now, the Salati homepage is the place to see the current distinction between the Android companion and the planned web tools. As those pages evolve, availability statements should remain specific to the product and feature being described.
What to expect next
There is no download link to offer until the Google Play listing is live and verified. We will keep the availability message accurate instead of treating preparation as a public launch. The availability update is the current destination for that status.
If you have a product question, the support page provides the contact route. There is no signup requirement or newsletter attached to this introduction.
Salati is Plugarti's first product. This Journal will have room for verified product announcements, release updates and engineering or design stories. This first draft establishes a useful starting point: what the Android companion is documented to do, what the website offers today, and what remains ahead.
